About the pub
The building was originally named “The New Inn”, the only pub name now legislated against!
Built Cira 1870 the building has always been a pub, it’s construction granted by permission of the local parish priest, and to this day the pub carries the responsibility for the repair of the church roof.
Due to the pubs age and prolonged periods of little investment we have a rolling plan of upgrades to be done as they can be afforded, to this end we lack some of the niceties of modern buildings such as baby changing facilities and proper disabled / wheelchair access. We do the best we can with the building we have and are able to offer help and assistance where necessary.
